Going places even before its release is ‘Milaga’, a film directed by Ravi Maria with popular Bollywood cinematographer Nataraj playing the lead role. The movie is all set to be remade in Telugu and Hindi.

Impressed very much by the storyline, ace producer Kalaipuli S Thanu has acquired the remake rights for both the languages and the ventures are expected to go to floors very soon.

Nataraj, who is a good friend to many Bollywood big guns, says, “John Abraham has recently watched ‘Milaga’ and expressed interest to act in its Hindi remake. The Bollywood version titled ‘Mirchi’ would have Deepika Padukone as heroine.”

Director Ravi Maria says, “Like how ‘Milaga’ is set in Madurai, ‘Mirchi’ will be set in Goa. As far as the Telugu version is concerned, attempts are on to rope in either Allu Arjun or Prabhas to play the protagonist.”

On the film, he says, “It is a realistic story on a group of youngsters in Madurai. At the same time, the narration would be very racy and the movie will be an attractive package of all necessary commercial elements.”
